Recently, renewable energy sources are gaining more importance in the future of power due to the need of reducing CO2 emission levels generated by fossil fuels. The number of wind and solar installations increases worldwide because of their free and clean nature, and the development of related technologies. However, the intermittent nature of renewable energy sources causes voltage stability problems. The utilities tend to impose strict Grid Codes for their interconnections. Therefore, the renewable energy sources must have some reliable interconnection solutions complied with Grid Codes. Achieving such compliance needs the control of voltage and reactive power properly. We provide turn-key solutions by our high technology reactive power and dynamic voltage control devices such as Conventional Compensation Systems, Harmonic Filters, SVC, and STATCOM in a wide voltage range. We start from initial feasibility studies, PQ measurements and load flow analysis to system modelling, design, implementation and field work as a complete solution.
